The ELTC is part of the SHEFFIELD 3 student complex and is opposite the HSBC regional headquarters and Shell petrol station. It is also near to the Kelham Island industrial heritage area.

The easiest way to reach us from the city centre is by tram. We are located 2 minutes walk away from the 'Shalesmoor' tram stop.

The ELTC is on the blue and yellow tram routes and is 2 stops from 'The University of Sheffield' tram stop. Trams go directly to: the city centre (blue and yellow tram), Sheffield train station (blue tram), Meadowhall shopping centre (yellow tram) and Hillsborough (blue and yellow tram). The ELTC is 10 minutes walk from the University of Sheffield (near tram stop or Information Commons). Please see the 'Enhanced Google Map' link below for suggested walking routes.


Cycle racks are available outside our main entrance, and we have shower facilities on the ground floor.


Several bus services stop near the ELTC.  These include 31, 31A, 38, 57, 81, 82, 84, 85, 10, 10A and H1.  You can use the 'Travel South Yorkshire' link below to plan your journey by bus or to search for a timetable.


The ELTC is near the Shalesmoor roundabout on the A61 and part of the Sheffield inner ring road. Limited street parking is available on Watery Street and Henry Street nearby. Sheffield has a 'Park and Ride' scheme: please see link below.
