Combined Honours – Triple B
*Please note that this programme is no longer recruiting for 2019 entry.*
UCAS Code: Y001
Duration: 3 years or 4 years if your chosen subjects include at least one language.
This exciting course provides students with an incredibly enriching and rewarding challenge. It is one of the only programmes that will allow you to pursue three subjects and to create your own degree.
Our programme is different to a Liberal Arts in that you only study the subjects you are interested in, not the compulsory general modules which can form a large part of a Liberal Arts programme.
Experience the intellectual challenge of a multi-subject degree which will give you the skills and attributes which employers value. Our expert and experienced academic staff will support you throughout your degree so you make the most of this excellent opportunity.
We welcome late applications through UCAS and will consider them as if they had arrived before 15th January.
"The triple honours course has allowed me to personalise my degree in a way that no other course can. I've been able to pursue three different subjects and experience three difference disciplines, receiving support along the way with deciding which subjects to carry on with"
Sophie Ellis, French, Russian and English Literature
You can choose any combination of three subjects from the list below, although there are minimum requirements for some.
* Performance modules are not available as part of the Combined Honours - Triple
Combined Honours - Triple students take the same number of credits as single honours students. In most cases you take the same core modules from each subject but select fewer optional modules. You make your choices - there are no required overarching modules which are general and outside your subject areas.

If you choose a modern foreign language as one of your subjects you will study one year abroad, making the degree four years.
Applying for the course
To study three languages apply for the BA in Modern Languages using UCAS code T900.
To study other three subject combinations (on the BA Combined Honours - Triple) use UCAS code Y001.
When applying for the course on UCAS, you do not need to select which subjects you want to choose. Instead, you will do this when you arrive in Sheffield to ensure you receive academic advice regarding your choices.
