The REXUS/BEXUS: Rocket Experiments for University Students/Balloon Experiments for University Students allows student teams from across Europe to carry out scientific and technological experiments on research rockets and balloons. Each year, two rockets and two balloons are launched, carrying up to 20 experiments designed and built by student teams. Sheffield Engineering Leadership Academy: SELA students are recruited from the University of Sheffield’s Faculty of Engineering and work with industry partners and academics to become leaders of tomorrow, who create positive impact in research and industry. More about Sheffield Engineering Leadership Academy. 

The UAS Challenge: Student teams undertake a full design and build cycle of an unmanned aircraft system, with specific mission objectives.
