Refer to this checklist to ensure you are fully prepared in the run up to your graduation and on the day itself.

Prepare for your graduation

Register to confirm if you wish to graduate in person or in absentia Friday 18 November 2022
Apply for additional tickets, if there are any available Week commencing 5 December 2022
Complete the name pronunciation form (if applicable) Friday 25 November 2022
All debts to the University must be cleared Wednesday 30 November
Ensure you have read all information on visas (if applicable) N/A
Order your robes from Ede & Ravenscroft Friday 16 December 2022
Download your e-tickets containing seat numbers for you and your guests

2pm on Wednesday 4 January 2023

Day before your ceremony


On the day

Task Deadline
Ensure you have downloaded your e-tickets showing your seat numbers. You can either print the tickets out, or show them on a mobile device. Before you leave home
Ensure you have a copy of your robe order confirmation Before you leave home
If you have pre-paid for photographs, ensure you have a copy of your order confirmation Before you leave home
Plan to arrive on campus approximately 90 minutes prior to the start time of your ceremony Ceremony start time minus 90 minutes
Collect your robe from Uni Central, Level 4, Students' Union Robing timetable available soon
Have photographs taken 8.30am-6.00pm
Arrive at the Octagon Centre and take your seat 45 minutes before ceremony
Registration commences 40 minutes before ceremony
Doors close 10 minutes before ceremony
Ceremony commences Given ceremony start time
Ceremony ends Ceremonies are approximately 60-90 minutes long
Visit the Alumni Relations stand and collect your free goodie bag 8.00am-5.00pm
Return your robes to Uni Central No later than 6.00pm
