Refer to this checklist to ensure you are fully prepared in the run up to your graduation and on the day itself.

Ensure you have read all information on visas (if applicable)  
Order your robes from Ede & Ravenscroft Friday 11 February 2022
Download your e-tickets containing seat numbers for you and your guests 2.00pm Tuesday 1 March 2022

Day before your ceremony


On the day

Task Deadline
Ensure you have downloaded your e-tickets showing your seat numbers. You can either print the tickets out, or show them on a mobile device, but you will not be able to gain entry without them. Before you leave home
Ensure you have a copy of your robe order confirmation Before you leave home
If you have pre-paid for photographs, ensure you have a copy of your order confirmation Before you leave home
Bring a supply of hair grips if you wish to secure your hat.  Please note Ede & Ravenscroft do not allow robes to be pinned. Before you leave home
Check with the Highways Agency for advice regarding traffic disruption on motorways and trunk roads Before you leave home
Plan to arrive on campus approximately 90 minutes prior to the start time of your ceremony Ceremony start time minus 90 minutes
Collect your robe from Uni Central, Level 4, Union of Students Building

9.30am ceremonies - collect between 7.30am and 8.40am


12.15pm ceremonies - collect between 9.15am and 11.35am


3.45pm ceremonies - collect between 12.15pm and 3.00pm

Have photographs taken Monday 9.30am-6.00pm
Tuesday-Friday: 7.30am-6.00pm
Arrive at the Octagon Centre, clear security and take your seat Ceremony time minus 45 minutes
Registration commences Ceremony time minus 40 minutes
Doors will be closed. Any graduands not seated will be marked as absent and removed from the presentation list. Any guest seats not taken will be re-allocated Ceremony start time minus 10 minutes
Ceremony commences Given ceremony start time
Ceremony ends Ceremonies are approximately 90 minutes long
Visit the Alumni Relations stand and collect your free goodie bag, mug and graduate guide On the day of the ceremony
Have photographs taken if you did not do this prior to your ceremony 6.00pm on day of ceremony
Return your robes to Uni Central 6.00pm on day of ceremony
