Make full use of the University Careers Service, both before you graduate and afterwards. We provide support with getting a graduate job and advice on your options after your degree, including postgraduate research or further study. We support you for three years after you leave your course, or until you register with another UK Higher Education Institution, whichever comes first.

Get help with applications

In order to compete for jobs, it's crucial that you are 'selling' your skills and experience in your applications and at interview. From writing high quality applications to succeeding at interviews, there’s advice on all aspects of the recruitment process at CVs, applications and interviews.

Our free online MOOC (Massive Open Online Course), How to Succeed at: Writing Applications runs all year round and provides tips to help you produce a perfect CV, application and online profile when applying for a job or course. Once you get shortlisted, our online MOOC, How to Succeed at: Interviews can provide the tools you need to land your dream job or course place.
