Clinical Jobs Information

Job Role: Part-time Speech and Language Therapist
Location: Alderwasley Hall School and Sixth Form Centre
Starts: September 2018 – 2/3 days a week
Closing Date: 29th June 2018

Description: Alderwasley Hall School and Sixth Form Centre is a day and residential school for students with Speech, Language and Communication Needs, namely High Functioning Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome. The education, therapies and care teams work together within the school, to provide an individualised curriculum to ensure the students’ needs are met and to enable them to maximise their potential.

We are looking to recruit another SLT for 2/3 days a week, to work at our 6th form site alongside 2 other SLTs who will have named responsibility for the caseload. You may work with some students who are transitioning to a local college, provide group SLT to some students at the 6th form, or even hone skills in assessment and observation. This is an ideal opportunity for a final year candidate to gain further ‘working’ experience and grow therapeutic skills in a number of areas.

You will be a part of a large team of therapists and will benefit from regular supervision, ongoing CPD and opportunities for developing or furthering specialist clinical skills through internal and external training.
