We work in collaboration with the Department of Lifelong Learning to offer alternative routes for mature students wanting to return to education.

Two of our undergraduate degrees are available to study with a foundation year, which will provide you with all the skills you need to progress to degree-level study.

Foundation year

The foundation year is designed to prepare you for your chosen course, building the confidence, academic skills and subject knowledge that you need for successful degree-level study.

On successful completion of the foundation year, you'll transfer from the Department of Lifelong Learning into the Health Sciences School to complete your degree.
