Year two Document Option examples

These modules have a narrower focus than our standard option modules and usually cover a specific event, movement or a moment in time.

They help you develop your skills in the use and analysis of primary sources which will be invaluable as you progress through your degree.

BA History students will take one document option, you will also choose four option modules and across these four modules should choose one from each band (A, B and C). Dual honours students have the option to take one document option module.

Please note that the following list includes the full range of document options that we offer. A selection of these will be available each session and the exact programme varies from year to year. *
