What have you particularly enjoyed about your degree programme?
The fact I have had the chance to pursue my own interests across a variety of projects - public history, group work and individual study - has been an immeasurable help in my development as a budding postgraduate researcher.
What modules have you found particularly enjoyable?
The two public history modules were a fascinating insight into non-academic history and were a refreshing alternative to the taught norm.
How have extra-curricular activities added to your time in Sheffield?
New Histories has been a great addition to studies. To be able to contribute to a student-led journal which allows a platform for my research interests to be accessed by a mixed intellectual audience was a real pleasure and another stepping stone in my professional development.
Do you have plans for after you finish?
I am commencing a fully-funded PhD at Sheffield's Journalism Department.
