10,000th e-Recruitment application submitted
Following the highly successful implementation during 2009, the 10,000th application has been submitted within e-Recruitment this week.
e-Recruitment has delivered an improved applicant experience by saving candidate’s information to avoid the need to rekey details for multiple applications, providing correspondence throughout the process to update on progress and giving the applicant the opportunity to register to receive email alerts when a vacancy matching their preferences is advertised. The University's Jobs webpages have also been re-launched providing additional support to candidates throughout the application process.
Since the e-Recruitment go-live and resulting transition to 100% on-line applications, applicant numbers have been maintained and the average quality of applications has improved.
