HR Department Short-listed for Two Awards
The Department of Human Resources has been shortlisted for both the CIPD People Management 2010 Awards and the Staff Development Impact Awards.
The CIPD People Management Awards celebrate outstanding achievements in HR and recognise the projects that have transformed business performance and made the biggest contribution to the way people are managed and developed. The Department has been shortlisted for its work on the Regularisation of Atypical Workers across the University. Winners will be announced at the Awards dinner on 10 November 2010.
The Staff Development Impact Awards, organised by the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education, seek to recognise staff development projects or initiatives in the broadest sense that have made a significant and positive difference to individuals, team(s), group(s) or the institution as a whole. Our team have been shortlisted on the basis of on our Staff Development Strategy following the Voluntary Severance Scheme in the Summer of 2009. Winners will be announced on 11 November 2010.
