Higher Education Statistics AgencyQuestionnaire to all academic and teaching staff regarding teaching qualifications

There has been a key change in the annual statutory reporting requirements to the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), following the HE White Paper: Students at the Heart of the System.

The new requirements relate to the provision of teaching qualifications. However, as we do not currently collect such information in a uniform way across the institution, a questionnaire has been sent to all academic and teaching staff with a closing date of 31 January.

This is an essential one-off exercise; it is planned that later in 2013 changes to myJob will enable existing staff to directly access and update their own qualifications records as and when required.
