Where an academic staff member has an agreed reasonable adjustment in place that impacts upon their ability to achieve one of the core criteria or some of the additional criteria, it may be necessary to adjust the ACP framework and its application accordingly.
Such adjustments should be discussed with a HoD in the first instance, and a proposal for the way in which the ACP framework can be adjusted should be developed and presented to the Vice President and Head of Faculty for approval.
When applying for promotion, this variation, the date it was approved and the timeframe of the agreement should be clearly indicated on the Academic Promotion Summary Statement.
