Academic staff comprise of Professors, Readers, Senior Lecturers and Lecturers on the clinical and the non-clinical salary scales.

Academic staff are required to observe the Charter, Statutes and Ordinances of the University and carry out all orders and regulations of the council.

Academic staff are required to undertake such duties as may be reasonably assigned as appropriate to their grade, by their Head of Department (or delegate), to whom they be responsible.

Cinical Lecturer Appraisals

Clinical Lecturers should be appraised using the University SRDS processes and the Academic Career Pathways framework. Appraisals should be held in conjunction with their Annual Review of Competence Progression process, and taking into account the balance of the clinical academic and training pathway.
