myJob/myTeam – Technical Guidance
Access to myJob and myTeam is via the My Services tab within MUSE. If you cannot log into MUSE, please contact the CiCS Helpdesk on ext 21111. If you cannot see the the myJob/myTeam/e-Recruitment link under My Services, please email email@example.com.
If you are accessing myJob or myTeam away from the University, you will need to have a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection set up. VPN is a secure link provided by CiCS which is required to access the University network remotely. It is quick and easy to set up, you should be connected via VPN before logging in to myJob/myTeam. Guidance on how to set up your VPN connection is provided here.
myJob and myTeam are compatible with Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari and Internet Explorer.
To use certain features within myJob/myTeam you may need to allow popups for mysapnew.shef.ac.uk Instructions are given below on how to do this for each supported browser.
Click Tools > Internet Options > Privacy. You can add mysapnew.shef.ac.uk to the allowed websites if you click Settings in the Privacy window.

Click Open Menu in the top right of the browser window > Options > Content. You can add mysapnew.shef.ac.uk to the exceptions list within the Content window.

Cick on the menu icon to the right of the address bar, then click " Settings." Click “Show Advanced Settings” at the bottom of the page and under "Privacy" click "Content Settings." Under "Pop-ups" add mysapnew.shef.ac.uk to the allowed exceptions in “Manage exceptions...”

In Safari, click on the Safari button in the top left of the screen then click Preferences. In the Preferences window, go to the Security tab and then untick Block Pop-up Windows if there is a tick in this box.
