Our Juice activity bookings platform is changing...
We have been successfully delivering Juice activities in partnership with an external supplier for the past seven years. Over this period a total of 6,640 staff have participated in a variety of social, wellbeing and fitness activities.
As a university, we are committed to placing health and wellbeing at the heart of the experience of working here and we want to continue to develop and enhance our wellbeing offer. We will start by bringing our wellbeing and activity programme in-house from October, working in collaboration with Sport Sheffield.
Staff can continue to enjoy the same range of wellbeing activities and resources, for free, using the new site that will be live from Wednesday 25 September for October activity bookings and accessible, in the usual way, through logging into MUSE and following the Juice link.
Managing our wellbeing and activity programme in-house will enable us to provide a more tailored wellbeing experience for staff and will help inform future service developments.
The new booking system will allow staff to book up to six days in-advance of activities for the week - giving everyone the opportunity to try something new. Also in October, we will be launching the Wellbeing Zone resource on the Sport Sheffield website, where staff can track their fitness progress, learn healthy recipes, set personal goals, take part in activity competitions with other staff members and much more.
In the new year, we will undertake a wider review of all of our wellbeing activities and will be asking for your feedback on what you would like to see from the staff wellbeing and activity programme.
