What is it about?
Facilitated by lecturers and clinical experts, this module is about ensuring that health care professionals are equipped with the skills, knowledge and confidence to undertake effective care and management of those with heart failure.
How does it enhance practice?
The unit is tailored to meet the needs of clinicians working in practice and stresses the importance of following recommended policies and best practice in the control, treatment and management of heart failure in those people under their care.
Mode of Assessment:
Clinical case study that uses evidence to explore the principles and practice of supporting the person with chronic heart failure and their family
