This study day is suitable for first level registered nurses working in primary care settings.

What is it about?
This study day provides an introduction to contraception for primary care. It will give an introduction to contraceptive choices and will look at the review, medical history, UKMEC, Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare advice and guidance. The study day will also cover ethical and legal issues in contraception and sexual health.
How does it enhance practice?
Nurses have increased knowledge of the range of contraception methods, and how to assess, review and manage patients in relation to contraception and sexual health.
