Who is it for?

This study day is suitable for nurses and health care assistants working in primary care settings.

What is it about?

This study day focuses on the role of the primary care nurse in health promotion and provides an introduction to smoking cessation and healthy eating advice.

How does it enhance practice?

Participants develop the skills and knowledge necessary for promoting health in relation to smoking cessation, healthy eating, alcohol awareness and physical activity.
