• Discovering the Background
    This approach introduced inquiry-based learning into a suite of three Level 1 modules as part of an overall effort to increase students´ engagement with and understanding of the disciplinary history and intellectual landscape of Philosophy, at the same time as developing their research, group-working and independent learning skills.
  • Third Year Philosophical Projects
    The Philosophy Department developed Level 3 modules in order to make students more independent and effective in their learning, to make them better able and more willing to work collaboratively, to familiarise them with relevant electronic and other learning resources, and to promote cohesion within the student group.
