Congratulations to Dr Joby Cole on his Wellcome Trust Clinical Training Fellowship

We are pleased to announce that Dr Joby Cole, from the Academic Unit of Immunology and Infectious Diseases, has been awarded a Wellcome Trust Clinical Training Fellowship to study 'The Effects of Pneumolysin-Induced Histone Post-Translational Modification on the Innate Immune Responses of Macrophages to Streptococcus pneumoniae'.

The award is for three years and is worth £250,000. The fellowship will be supervised by Prof David Dockrell (Department of Infection and Immunity) and Dr Mark Dickman (Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering) and involves collaboration with Prof Cossart (Pasteur Institute, Paris).
