RCP Excellence in Patient Care Awards Nomination
Dr Matthew Kurien, a Gastroenterologist and Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Infection, Immunity & Cardiovascular Disease has been shortlisted to receive the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) Excellence in Patient Care Award for speciality trainees. He is one of four trainees in the country to be shortlisted for this prestigious award, recognising his work in raising standards in Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) feeding. These awards were open to all UK physicians in training and the results are set to be announced at the RCP annual conference in March. Fingers crossed for future success.
