We have been welcoming students from Ecuador for many years and our staff are very familiar with the Ecuadorian education system and qualifications.

High entrance requirements for our degree programmes at Sheffield reflect the quality of the University.

All applicants are required to have an internationally recognised English language qualification such as IELTS.

Entry requirements

Undergraduate Programmes e.g. BSc, BA, BEng/ MEng

A variety of qualifications can be considered for direct admission to undergraduate bachelor degree programmes.

All applications for undergraduate programmes should be made through UCAS.

A Level

Applicants with a minimum of 3 A levels will be considered for direct admission to undergraduate programmes.

International Baccalaureate

Applicants with a minimum of 34 points will be considered for direct admission to undergraduate programmes.

International College

Our International College provides undergraduate foundation programmes specifically designed for students seeking entry into the University of Sheffield.

Postgraduate Taught Programmes e.g. MA, MSc, MBA

Holders of a good bachelor degree from a recognised Ecuadorian university will be considered for direct admission to postgraduate diploma or masters programmes.

For entry to MBA

Holders of a good bachelor degree from a recognised Ecuadorian university and at least 3 years´ post-graduation work experience will be considered for direct admission to the MBA. Applicants must be at least 25 years old by the time the programme starts.

International College

Our International College provides pre-Masters programmes specifically designed for students seeking entry into the University of Sheffield.

Holders of a good bachelor and masters degree from a recognised Ecuadorian university will be considered for direct admission to postgraduate research programmes.
