Personally, coming from a fast-paced city like Mumbai, I really love Sheffield because the city provides a good work-life balance.

Sheffield is ranked 21st globally for studying Architecture and that was really an important factor for me in choosing my future University. The modules here are very unique compared to most other universities and it provides an amazing student experience. Moreover, I was very keen on studying in the UK, so Sheffield became my first choice for my master's.
The Architectural department has curated some fascinating modules, ‘Live Projects’ being my favourite. It’s a six-week long real-time project with actual clients and ranges from on-site construction to urban design proposals. Another highlight is the variety of design studios offered.
The Sheffield School of Architecture uses the latest pedagogy and technology to provide its students one-of-a-kind learning experience with flexibility and customized approaches to design based on one’s interest.
The course has given me a broader understanding into every aspect of the field which will help me become better in my profession in the future.
I would recommend anyone who has received an offer letter to accept it and join the University of Sheffield. Along with its fabulous academics, the University and the city have so much more to offer in terms of life experiences and self-growth. In my opinion, any university ranked in the top 100 in the world would certainly provide a worthwhile experience, but what matters is selecting the university that offers you the best student experience and extra-curricular activities.
