Don’t give up and believe in yourself!

How did you first hear about your scholarship?

I looked for funding for my study in Sheffield and found this scholarship on the university website ,it is a great honour to get it and a significant relief because this scholarship allowed me to make my dreams come true.

What made you choose to study at Sheffield and your course?

There were lots of positive reviews about the university, student union and about the course  from alumnus and also an opportunity to look at the curriculum of the program. I used other websites and also the University of Sheffield Facebook pager to find current students and alumni to get first hand knowledge and experiences.

What are you enjoying about your first semester?

I am currently working on a Live Project, and it is a great experience and opportunity to work as a team with people from different fields and backgrounds, I am hopeful that in the future I will be able to find a friendly company to work in the UK to improve my knowledge in architectural design from the practical side. The scholarships has already helped me to become a part of this great university and I hope to meet with  other scholars to improve our network too.

What advice would you give to a student considering studying at the University of Sheffield?

Don’t give up and believe in yourself and also don't hesitate to become a member of university clubs and societies, they are a great way to meet people outside of your course.
