How did you research the University to find out about studying in Sheffield?
The University of Sheffield has an amazing website, it’s a great resource that answers all your questions. I was also really impressed by the MUSE systems and pre-arrival tasks that I had to perform before commencing my studies. I came to Sheffield with confidence and grand plans in what I was going to do at the University.
What was your initial impression of Sheffield and the University when you first arrived?
Sheffield is a green and very picturesque city with a hilly terrain. Previously, I used to avoid hills as it takes more effort to walk up them but after some time I realised that I was becoming stronger and healthier even, without having to go to the gym! The University of Sheffield impressed me with its diversity. I found at least 10 University buildings near my department, and all of them were unique in architecture and style.
What are the highlights of your experience in Sheffield so far?
There are a lot of trees and parks here which help you to relax, as well as lots of activities and entertainment facilities, so you’re never bored!
