I joined Information School as a part-time doctoral researcher in 2017.

Prior to that, I completed an MSc in health informatics at the University of Leeds, UK, a Masters in public health (major in epidemiology) at North-South University, Dhaka, Bangladesh and a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery at Bangladesh Dental College, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

In Bangladesh, I am a registered dental surgeon in Bangladesh {Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (Reg. number:4427). I worked as a research assistant in an international epidemiological survey project. I also worked as a graduate teaching assistant for the MPH ad Executive MPH Programme for 2 years.

In the UK, I worked as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Sheffield for 4 years for MSc in Information Systems, Information Management and Information System Management programme. Currently, I am working as a full-time Lecturer in Health & Care Informatics at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. I am also the programme manager of the MSc Digital Skills for health & Care Professions Programme.

Title: "Oral healthcare providers’ perspectives on Integrated Electronic Medical-Dental Record system"

My research focuses on the information behaviour of the primary oral healthcare providers. I am
interested in the role of electronic dental record system and integrated electronic medical-dental
record system in the seeking and sharing health records of patients.
