Data Mining for Lead Optimisation
The aim of this project is to develop a tool that summaries data generated in the lead optimisation stage of drug discovery. The tool should help tackle the cost and complexities of the drug discovery process by helping medicinal chemists make better decisions quicker thereby hopefully creating successful drugs quicker and cheaper. The project will be looking into producing a new visualisation that will be able to demonstrate the areas of chemical space that has been worked in, whilst also showing where the next areas of chemical space exploration should be and why this is of interest.
