MA Library & Information Services Management
American student Alberto is studying the distance learning Library & Information Services Management course from the USA. His hobbies include reading, listening to music and watching crime shows. He also has a background in librarianship, so can advise on the Librarianship course.

I was born in the United States and travelled between the US and Brazil for many years before coming to the U.K. in 2017.

I came to love libraries and reading from a young age after spending most of my afternoons in my town’s small library waiting for mother to get out of work. This love of books inspired me to pursue a MA in Eastern Classics and a MA in English Literature.

I am a big fan of nineteenth-century Gothic Literature and modern Sci-Fi.

I am particularly interested in academic libraries and Information Literacy. I have worked as a library assistant at a college library in the University of Cambridge, and I am currently a volunteer library assistant at Westfield House Library, Cambridge.
