Scope of Research

My research aims to explore women’s experiences of prisoner re-entry following the introduction of the Offender Rehabilitation Act (2014). Through qualitative interviews, I will explore the experiences of women who have been sentenced to twelve months or less in prison and as a result are being supervised in the community once released.

Prisoner re-entry, penal policy, prisons, prisoner reintegration and prisoner resettlement.
