I joined the School of Law at Sheffield in 2015, moving from a project management role relating to staff training and development at the University of Leeds. My career history is varied, enabling me to draw on a wide range of experience in managing people, teams and projects.

After graduating with a 1st in English from the University of Leeds, I worked in advertising agencies in Birmingham and London, on brands ranging from Nissan and French Connection to the Big Issue. I then moved into the public sector, managing a £12m digital cinema initiative for the UK Film Council in London, whilst completing my Graduate Diploma in Marketing with the Chartered Institute of Marketing. In my next role I travelled the country working with Sector Skills Councils supporting
development of vocational qualifications strategies. Prior to moving into Higher Education, I ran a division of a national road safety charity, Brake, for five years, a varied role not dissimilar to that of School Manager here in the School of Law, albeit in a very different environment.
