Dr Christina Larkin

Christina is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Southampton. Her research focuses on the global carbon cycle using isotope geochemistry to understand past and present climate change.

She completed her PhD at the University of Cambridge, broadly using the Nd isotope tracer to understand current and past climate in the Arctic. She has been involved in a number of projects to quantify the carbon budgets of large rivers, completing fieldwork from South-East Asia to Arctic Canada. She has previously worked for the University of Cambridge’s Sustainability team as a Carbon Management Assistant.
