Can I have longer library loans?
If you feel you would benefit from longer library loans and have registered with the Disability and Dyslexia Support Service (DDSS) please submit the online form. We will then put your longer loans in place. If you are not registered with us for additional support, we will advise you on what action to take next.
What are the longer loan periods?
- Normal loans - 4 weeks
- Books reserved by other Library customers - 4 days
What happens if a book I have on loan is requested by another user?
All Library customers are expected to comply with the Library regulations. This includes returning requested items on time.
If you are unable to return requested items on time due to illness, personal/family problems, difficult events (e.g. bereavement) or serious incidents, please:
- contact the Library HelpDesk as soon as possible
- present a Special Circumstances Form to a member of Library staff at an information desk when you return the item(s).
