British and Irish archaeological bibliography (BIAB) provides information about articles and books on the archaeology of Britain and Ireland. In terms of archaeological period, BIAB ranges from Palaeolithic to recent times, with Industrial and twentieth-century archaeology becoming increasingly represented. There are almost 200,000 references from publications issued from 1695 to the present day. References to material published from 1967 onwards also include abstracts. The database comprises information from several bibliographic sources and a full list of what BIAB contains is available.
