Screenonline was developed by the British Film Institute (BFI) as a guide to Britain's film and television history. It includes stills, publicity materials, synopses, specially written analyses and biographies from the BFI National Film and Television Archive.

Although the website is no longer updated, it remains available to view for the time being. The BFI now offers BFI Player, a video on-demand service with some freely available content. There is also a BFI YouTube channel.

Access is available directly from this page by connecting to the Screenonline website. Please note you must be on campus to view any video clips.
