ACM Digital Library

The ACM Digital Library is a collection of full-text articles and bibliographic records covering the fields of computing and information technology. The full-text database includes journals, conference proceedings, magazines, newsletters and multimedia titles. The ACM Digital Library is integrated with and includes access to the Guide to Computing Literature bibliography.

The University of Sheffield also has access to a number of ACM ebook titles. These are searchable from StarPlus.

Access is available directly from this page by connecting to the ACM Digital Library website - you'll be prompted to log in to MUSE as necessary.

You can also choose to create a personal account to access ACM Digital Library from off campus and to save your search results, but you must log in to your personal account from on campus at least once every six months to associate it with our institutional access. Unfortunately, if you access ACM Digital Library through MUSE from off campus, you cannot save your search results. This is because our off campus access is facilitated by a proxy server and ACM's website cannot enable access via a proxy server and a personal account at the same time.
