Getting started with EndNote Online

EndNote Online is a web-based software for storing and managing references. It also allows you to Cite While You Write with Word, using a variety of styles. EndNote Online users can register for one of three types of account: an 'EndNote Basic' free account with limited features is available to anyone; an 'EndNote Basic' free account with additional features is available to Web of Science (formerly Web of Knowledge) users; an 'EndNote' free account is available to EndNote Desktop users.

University of Sheffield users can register for an 'EndNote Basic' free account with additional features by creating their account through Web of Science. • Click the 'EndNote' link at the top of any Web of Science page and then click 'Register'
  • Follow the instructions on screen
