Access to electronic resources

Customers who are registered as External Borrowers and NHS staff who have registered with the library can use the Guest Wireless Service. Please ask at a Library Information Desk for the Wepkey (username and password) to access this service.

The Eduroam service permits visitors from other Eduroam registered institutions to access their home institution’s electronic resources remotely via the wireless network on the University of Sheffield campus. Users will need a portable computer with an enabled wireless adaptor.

External Borrowers and Readers can access many of the electronic journals from the University's portfolio via dedicated computers based in Western Bank Library and the Health Sciences Library. See 'Access to electronic journals' in the Quick links box for full details.
