Cultural Transformation in Organizations: A Synthesis of Theoretical Constructs and a Case Study in Obstetrics Practice in Canada
Scope of Research (aims and objectives)
This study seeks to develop a theory of organizational transformation and test via a case study in obstetrics practice in Canada. It draws upon the scholarship in the areas of organizational culture and climate over the past 50 years and applies a systems perspective, which has been limited in the literature heretofore. The hypotheses of this theory and their tests are presented in the context of a longitudinal study of a specific intervention program.
