Dr Tom Buckley is currently Lecturer in International Business Strategy at the University of Sheffield. Dr Buckley received his PhD., which was subsequently shortlisted for two dissertation prizes, from the University of Reading’s Henley Business School in 2017.
Prior to his appointment at the University of Sheffield, he was employed as a research fellow at the University of Birmingham.

Tom’s research interests focus mainly on international comparative management, specifically the determinants of service sector productivity from a managerial perspective over the long run.
