Research interests

I am particularly interested in the field of immigrant entrepreneurship. I am also interested in entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurship in minority groups, sustainable entrepreneurship and innovation, and digitalisation in SMEs.

Teaching interests

I joined academia because one of my passions is teaching, and by nearly completing my PhD studies, I have been able to develop my teaching profile. I have also recently joined Advance Higher Education Academy as an Associate Fellow; by obtaining this fellowship, I am able to apply the UK professional standards at all times when teaching.

Teaching activities

I have been involved in different modules across the Sheffield University Management School, such as Futures First and Cultural and Creative Entrepreneurship. I am also an Associate Lecturer at The Open University Management School in the module Creating futures: Sustainable enterprise and innovation.
