Profile

Fanke is a PhD candidate at Sheffield University Management School. Her current research is focusing on performance management and multinational enterprises in the context of developing and less developed countries, under the supervision of Professor Paul Latreille, Professor Pauline Dibben and Dr Huiping Xian. Neo-institutional theory is used as a theoretical lens to conduct this multiple-level study. In addition to this research, Fanke has a passion for teaching and she is doing several teaching activities as an academic tutor in the areas of human resources management and research methods, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Before joining the Management School, Fanke was selected as a member of the Amsterdam Business Research Institute (ABRI). She thus had opportunities to participate in a coherent set of academic training and graduated as one of 12 honour students in 2017. This was the start of her academic journey.
