Mathtutor Contains numerous vodcasts and other materials aimed at 1st year engineers and A level mathematics
Mathematics Support Materials Resources page from the University of Plymouth
HELM Helping engineers learn mathematics was a government funded project and has produced numerous booklets and other resources for independent (or self) learning. These have been adopted by numerous universities and generally very well received by students
Mathstore HEA subject centre of mathematics, statistics and OR. Probably more aimed at academic staff but does have materials of use to students
Greenhow Has produced a number of open access diagnostic tests and other resources which students may find useful.
SIGMA Government funded CETL championing maths learning support in Universities. Has numerous resources.
Khan Academy Khan Academy stores over 2,700 videos covering everything from arithmetic to statistics, physics, finance and 240 practice exercises.
CAST (general) CAST stands for Computer-Assisted Statistics Textbooks and consists of a collection of electronic textbooks (e-books). It was written by Doug Stirling, while employed at Massey University in Palmerston North, New Zealand. Massey University has given considerable support both directly through grants from its Fund for Innovation and Excellence in Teaching and indirectly with encouragement at all levels.
Online StatBook v2, OSE Online Statistics Education: An Interactive Multimedia Course of Study is a resource for learning and teaching introductory statistics. It contains material presented in textbook format and as video presentations. Each section is followed by a small online quiz with solutions.
MATHSEG MATHSEG provides the database of the self-testing questions covering a wide range of A-level maths. The feedback will be available immediately after submitting your answer.
AP, Stat Trek The online Advanced Placement (AP) Statistics tutorial has been carefully developed to help you master the Advanced Placement Statistics Examination. This tutorial provides accurate and complete coverage of the AP Statistics curriculum.
Wolfram Alpha Ask almost any maths or statistics question and receive a detailed explanation.
Critical Numbers: basic medical statistics resource This resource was created for first year medical students and covers the basics of medical statistics, including a self-test resource
RSS Stats resources Free resources curated by the Royal Statistical Society
