Enes completed his BSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics at Izmir Institute of Technology in 2013.

After working as a medical device inspector at Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency, he was awarded a post-graduate scholarship provided by the Turkish Ministry of Education. He completed his MSc in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Dundee in 2018.

Research interests

Enes is currently pursuing his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Sheffield under the supervision of Dr Frederik Claeyssens.

His research focus includes the development of porous scaffolds for 3D cell culturing and the investigation of proliferation and differentiation behavior of human bone marrow stromal cells under flow-induced shear stress.
