Accommodation and Travel

Where to stay

Accommodation and breakfasts for conference delegates will be available in several city centre hotels, conveniently located close to the conference venue. University accommodation in our award-winning student village (Endcliffe Village) is also available as a budget option. The prices that we have secured start from £46 per night, and also include some very attractive rates for the city’s mid-range and luxury hotels.

Please book your accommodation directly with the hotels and providers listed, via the following link: https://book.passkey.com/e/50037741. Both hotel-style and University accommodation are listed via that site. Reservations can be made using the web address below until 28 days prior to the event start date. On this date some hotels will choose to leave unsold rooms on the system, or they may remove them. The site will close fully 14 days prior to the event start date.

Travelling to Sheffield

Sheffield is easily accessed by train from Manchester Airport (80 mins, usually one direct and one connecting train per hour, or by taxi 60-90 mins costing ~£70-95). Other options include Birmingham Airport (approx. 100 mins, 3-4 trains per hour), or any of the London airports via London Kings Cross/St Pancras (just over 2 hours, 1-2 trains per hour). The conference accommodation site https://book.passkey.com/e/50037741 also offers discounts on East Midlands Trains tickets (to Sheffield from London and the Midlands) which are available once your accommodation booking is completed.

Doncaster Sheffield airport is now connected by bus (~65 mins) to the city centre, and has flights to a selection of destinations in Europe.
