Placements and employment experience
Undergraduate students in Mathematics and Statistics have the chance to spend a year of their degree gaining valuable work experience. You can apply for a course with a Placement Year built in, or add Employment Experience to one of our other courses once you've started. BSc students complete a 12-month work placement after their second year, and MMath students take a placement after their third year, before returning to university for the final year of their degree.
