Virtual Open Day: PG Certificate Medical Education

The faculty would like to welcome you to the Virtual Open Day. The Open Day will take you through the core information that you will need to introduce you to the course, the commitment that will be required from you.

One of the most important questions to ask yourself is why are you here? What is your motivation for doing a PG Cert?

The most successful students on this programme are those that want to engage in a process rather than those who want to get a qualification.

We ask these questions because of the demands that are placed on you whilst the course is in progress.

Application deadline: 30 July 2021

Module overview

The course consists of three 20 credit modules. We like to think about our programme as more about learning than teaching. We reflect this in our design of face-to-face, online and assessment environments. We see our particpants as active contributors to our programme.

Four people hold jigsaw pieces

In order to succeed on the programme you will need to attend and engage, even when activities are not being assessed. The 2021-2022 dates and other activities are published well in advance on the website. All dates are compulsory so you will be required to take study leave or annual leave as necessary to attend these days.

Meet the team

The team comprises of academic and administrative staff. The academic staff are divided into those with a clinical background and those with an educational background. We combine those skills in the study days.
