Dr Dominic McHugh has been awarded a Senate Award for Teaching Excellence and was presented with his certificate at the graduation ceremony on Wednesday 22nd July. Dominic's award recognises his innovative teaching in the areas of Broadway Musicals, Music History and Musicology, at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Dominic is also known for his research-led productions of 'lost musicals', in which students have been involved as directors, arrangers and performers, most recently in the 'Lost Songs of My Fair Lady' event which received international media coverage. Dominic consistently receives enthusiastic student feedback for his teaching, and his award citation spoke of his passion and inspiration, which enable students to achieve highly and discover new musicological interests. Congratulations to our new Senate Fellow.
