Renee Timmers is invited speaker at a three-day colloquium on ‘The Emotional Power of Music’

The colloquium is held at the prestigious Centre for Affective Sciences of the University of Geneva and brings together researchers from musicology, philosophy, psychology and neuroscience. It will address issues related to the representation and induction of emotion through music, the role of the interpreter and the role of listener background factors. The colloquium will include an ‘experimental concert’ in which audience responses to music will be investigated.
